The Hospital Nacional de Parapléjicos de Toledo is the public reference hospital in Spain for the treatment of spinal injury. It was opened in october 7th 1974 and, currently the hospital has been fully refurbished and extended, improving the building facilities and adding more spaces to the original building. The scope of the first phase in the refurbishment project apply to 30.308 sqm and 234 beds, the second phase scope will cover 24.904 sqm and 234 beds.
INGHO worked closely with architects and hospital technical service to guarantee the implementation of the most suitable energy efficienty measures and a reduced operational and maintenance cost in the new building design.
Engineering project for all the building facilities: HVAC, electricity, plumbing/ drainage, control, communications, medical gases and fire protection.
