Last 19th of october 2018 was published the provisional decision of the financed project by Ministerio de Industria, Comercio y Turismo (MINECO) under the framework of the latest call for the program for supporting innovative enterprise groups. The project “HECTOR – High Efficiency Cooling Towers Output Recycled”, promoted by INGHO, has been selected to be financed in this call.

The main objetive of this project focuses on the evaluation, design amd validation of an innovative system to recover water from air handling units and feed cooling towers to reduce water and energy consumption in big buildings.

It is an innovaticve project that, using a circular economy approach, implement soltions to reduce the environmental impact of the cooling towers due to the water consumption. Next months will focus on the solution design and the construction of a demonstration pilor that will enable us to measure the real performance and compare it with the modelled results.

The project consortium is formed by INGHO, Clúster Andalucía Smart City and the company SOFTCRITS. 25th of october was celebrated in Clúster facilities the kick-off meeting.
